Payment

We aim to serve all patients, whether or not you are insured. Please call us and ask about our affordable prices.

We are in network with Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, UPMC Healthplan and Aetna Healthplan. If you would like to use your insurance, please call to pre-verify your coverage.

We offer payment plans through Care Credit. There are also payment plans available for both the Mirena and Paragard IUDs, and Implanon.

Sorry, we cannot accept Medicaid (Gateway, Unison, Access etc.) as payment for services rendered. However, Adagio clinics do accept Medicaid. Call 1-800-215-7494 to find an Adagio near you.

IUD consultation and insertion

The IUD (intra-uterine device) is a very effective method of birth control that can last up to 10 years. It can be inserted at our office in about five minutes, and it can be removed in our office at any time, for any reason.

We offer both Mirena and Paragard IUDs. You can use your insurance for an IUD, and we also offer payment plans for uninsured patients. If you are uninsured, you may qualify for a free IUD. Call us for more information.

Implanon consultation and insertion

Implanon is a very effective contraceptive rod that goes under the skin of the upper arm, and lasts up to three years. It can be inserted at an office visit in about five minutes, and can be removed in our office at any time, for any reason.

You can use your insurance for Implanon, and we also offer payment plans for uninsured patients.

Gardasil (vaccine against cervical cancer)

Gardasil is a vaccine that protects against cervical cancer and genital warts caused by the four highest risk types of HPV (Human papillomavirus). Gardasil also protects women who already have HPV from becoming infected with other types. Gardasil is currently indicated for women ages 9-26.

Most insurance plans cover Gardasil. If you are uninsured, call us to see if you qualify for free Gardasil through the Merck Vaccine Patient Assistance Program.

Colposcopy

If you have had an abnormal Pap test result, your health care provider may have recommended colposcopy. Colposcopy is a procedure used to detect abnormal cells and tissues of the cervix. Our health care provider uses a colposcope (which is like a large microscope) to examine your cervix.

Our health care provider may want to take a small biopsy, or sample, from the cervix. This is not painful, but you might feel a slight pinch and some mild cramping.

We offer this service at the lowest possible fee. Call for fees and information about payment plans.
