There is more than one Highland Avenue in the Pittsburgh region. If you plan to use an internet direction site like Mapquest or use a GPS in your automobile, you MUST enter our zip code (15206.)

Directions coming from the north of Pittsburgh

From route 79:

1. Follow 79S to 279S.
2. Take 279S to the East Street exit. Exit at the end of the exit ramp, go through the stop sign, then get in the left lane. Go to the third traffic light, make a left onto 28N (towards Etna) and stay in the left lane.
3. Follow 28N to Exit 2, which is the 40th Street Bridge. EXIT IS FROM THE LEFT LANE.
4. Turn right onto the bridge, go through the first light, then get in left lane as you go up the hill.
5. At the second light, turn left onto Penn Avenue. Go through 11 lights (approx. 1.8 miles).
6. At 12th light, turn left onto N. Highland Avenue. Our building is two short blocks on your right at the corner of N. Highland and Broad Street. It is beige with green stripes and the entrance to the second floor is on the Broad Street side of the building under the awning with the number 200 on it.

From route 28:

1. Take 28 South to Highland Park Bridge Exit.
2. Go across bridge.
3. Stay in the right hand lane-take the Butler St. exit.
4. Make a left at first light, take One Wild Place through The Pittsburgh Zoo, continuing to bear right.
5. When you see a tall glass apartment building to the left in front of you, make a left onto Bunker Hill Rd.
6. Go 4 blocks and make a right onto Highland Ave.
7. Go 3 lights.
8. We are 2 blocks past the 3rd light.
9. We are on the left in the rounded tan brick building on the corner of Highland and Broad.  The  number 200 is written on the 2nd floor windows.  Our entrance is on Broad Street with a green awning above the doorway.

From route 8:

1. Take Route 8 South going through Allison Park and Etna until you see sign for Route 28 North.
2. Get on 28 North briefly. Take the first exit--Highland Park Bridge.
3. Go across bridge.
4. Stay in the right hand lane to the Butler St. exit.
5. Make left at first light, take One Wild Place through the Pittsburgh zoo, continuing to bear right.
6. When you see a tall glass apartment building to the left in front of you, make a left onto Bunker Hill Rd.
7. Go 4 blocks and make a right onto Highland Ave.
8. Go through 3 lights.
9. We are 2 blocks past the 3rd light.
10. We are on the left  in the rounded tan brick building on the corner of Highland and Broad.

Directions coming from south or west of Pittsburgh:

1. Take any route that will connect you with 376 East.  Follow the Parkway through the Fort Pitt Tunnels. 
2. Follow the  signs for Liberty Ave.  Stay on Liberty Ave. through downtown and community of Bloomfield.  When you see West Penn Hospital on the left. you are getting close to Baum Blvd.
3. Make a left onto Baum Blvd. at Don Allen Buick.
4. Follow Baum Blvd. to its end less than a mile. Make a left onto Highland Ave. Go through 1 traffic light. Our building is 2 blocks further on the right, at the corner of Highland and Broad Street. It is tan brick and the number 200 is written on the 2nd floor windows.
5. Our entrance is on Broad Street with a green awning above the doorway.
   
   OR
   
   From the Fort Pitt Tunnel/ Fort Pitt Bridge

Stay in the far right lane of the Fort Pitt Bridge (376 Monroeville)
Lane will bear to the right coming off the bridge.
Continue and take the Forbes Ave. exit. 
The 1st traffic light will be at Craft Ave.  Proceed straight ahead.
After the 8th traffic light (Bigelow Blvd.), move  into the 2 left turning lanes.
You will  make a left onto  S.Bellefield(10th traffic light).
At the next corner/traffic light, turn right onto Fifth Ave.
Continue on Fifth Ave. until you reach S. Highland Ave. (10th traffic light).
Make a left onto S. Highland and continue straight ahead for 5 traffic lights.
East Liberty Presbyterian Church will be on your left at the corner of Highland & Penn Ave.
Allegheny Reproductive is 2 blocks ahead on your right at the corner of N.Highland & Broad.
We are in the tan brick building. Our entrance is on Broad St. with a green awning above our doorway.

Directions coming from Uniontown or South Hills via Liberty Tunnels

1. Take Route 51 through Liberty Tunnels
2. Cross the Liberty Bridge and follow signs for the Mellon Arena
3. At the Arena, follow signs for Bigelow Blvd
4. Follow Bigelow, bearing to the left when you come to a Y in the road
5. From Bigelow, go to the fourth traffic light and turn left onto Baum Blvd
6. Stay on Baum until it ends
7. Turn left onto Highland Ave
8. Go through one traffic light, then go two blocks
9. We are on the corner of N. Highland and Broad
10. Our buiding is tan brick and the number 200 is on the 2nd floor windows.  Our entrance is on Broad Street with a green awning above the doorway.

Directions coming from east of Pittsburgh:

1. Take any route that will join 22/30 or 376 West
2. Take 376 West to Edgewood/Swissvale exit.
3. At the end of the exit ramp, make a right onto Braddock Ave. Go to the 3rd light and make a left onto Penn Ave.
4. Follow Penn Ave. 2 miles to the intersection of Penn and Highland Ave.    (approximately 10 lights)
5. Make a right onto Highland Ave.
6. We are 2 blocks down on the right at the corner of Highland and Broad St. The building is tan brick with the number 200 written on the second floor windows. Our entrance is on  Broad Street with a green awning above the doorway.
